There are several different ways to control the Omnia Go motor:
- With the buttons on the Omnia Go unit
- With remote control (included in the package)
- With app, one and one and group control (through Broadlink RM Pro+)
- Set time schedule (through Broadlink RM Pro+)
- Voice control (through Broadlink RM Pro+ and Alexa, Google)
How does it work
The ball chain / cord is fed into the spool on the motor shaft which then rotates and drives the ball chain / cord up or down.
The Omnia Go motor is installed on a wall plate. With the help of the wall plate, you can easily adjust the motor so that the tension on the ball chain / cord is correct.
End positions are easily set using the buttons on the Omnia Go motor.
The entire installation takes only a few minutes.
Omnia Go is powered by a power adapter that is included in the package.
Smooth start and stop feature
Each time the motor starts and stop it will go slowly to reduce the friction on the chain or cord. The motor also has a safety mechanism which kicks in when there is to much force needed to pull the chain or cord.
Broadlink is basically required, which then enables integration with for example:
- Google Assistant
- Amazon Alexa
- HomeKit ( Through HomeAssistant )
